Show & Tell:


Exhibited some of my work at the Show & Tell pop up shop in Bournemouth this weekend. Thanks to everyone involved. Had a great time, sold some prints and met lots of awesome people.

When I get back from Heligan:



Went to the lost gardens of Heligan the other day when I was down in Falmouth. Was super soggy and took us a while to find but was awesome. Didnt take many photo's but heres a couple.

Here's a sneek peek at one of a few new bits I'm working on for a label titled 'Chariots of the Sun'. This idea for a back print is based on aztec calendar stones.

Duff:



I'm really slow on the posting of this but recently met up with one of my favourite artists, Duff Pearce. We had a good natter about art and drank lots of tea. He offered to help me print up one of my cuts on his old press in turn for helping him out in the studio once a week.

Got some pretty decent prints from the first run and now working on this new lino of a trawler. Learning how to frame next so hopefully some more photo's when I do.

Travels:


Went up to London recently and got to skate this DIY park thats popped up in an old paddling pool. Also got to visit the mangle and meet Lovenskate Stu. Cheers to James for lending us a sofa and also hooking me up with a copy of the latest horse zine. www.horsezine.blogspot.com

Also went to Norwich and stayed with a great folk band called the woodland creatures. Definitely worth checking out.

A few things:


Finally got some wheels sorted. Picked this Humber 3 speed from Fareham. Brakes are pretty sketchy but fun on the flat. Went for a little ride to the chessil today and took some photos.

Twestival:


Finished my placement at revolting last week. Got to work on some cool projects and everyone was real nice. Did a bit of interface design which is something I've never had a go at before and also got to work on a photography shoot with Andy Whale. Here's a logo I created of the London Twestival competition whilst I was there.
